-
I was placed in and completed Fairfax County's full immersion Advanced Academic Program(Level IV), which focused on higher-level thinking, problem-solving, and independent decision-making. I graduated from Jamestown High School in Williamsburg, Virginia in 2023, where I completed my secondary education before continuing my studies at Virginia Commonwealth University.
-
Early interests in philanthropy, teamwork, and creative expression developed through my involvement in Girl Scouts, where I helped organize a philanthropic event supporting medical research—an effort for which I received the Gold President’s Volunteer Service Award for community service from President Barack Obama. I have also been a member of MENSA, the international high-IQ society, since the age of seven, which reflects my lifelong curiosity and interest in exploring new ideas. Throughout elementary, middle, and high school, I was also a member of the volleyball team, where I developed strong teamwork, discipline, and leadership skills. In high school, I further explored media and storytelling through service on the Yearbook Editorial Team and by taking the initiative to start a small school magazine inspired by vintage 1990s rock zines. Alongside these experiences, I cultivated a lifelong interest in art and photography, which continues to shape my creative perspective and passion for visual storytelling.

I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications with a concentration in Public Relations at the Robertson School of Media and Culture at Virginia Commonwealth University (2023–Present). My coursework focuses on strategic communication, media writing, event planning, and digital content strategy. I have consistently been named to the Dean’s List while balancing my academic work with active involvement in campus life as a member of Alpha Gamma Delta.
Alpha Gamma Delta
During my time at Virginia Commonwealth University, I have been an active member of Alpha Gamma Delta’s Theta Nu Chapter, an organization dedicated to its philanthropic mission of fighting hunger. Through the chapter, I have participated in and helped support initiatives such as food drives, fundraising efforts, and campus outreach focused on addressing food insecurity in our community. My involvement in Alpha Gamma Delta has allowed me to build meaningful connections while contributing to service-oriented work that extends beyond campus.
I was later elected to the chapter’s officer board, where I served as Vice President of Marketing. In this role, I led the chapter’s marketing and communications efforts, managing our social media presence, creating digital content, promoting events, and strengthening campus engagement. I also designed and coordinated the production of chapter merchandise and helped ensure that our branding and messaging reflected both the values of Alpha Gamma Delta and our presence within the broader VCU community. Through this experience, I developed leadership, strategic communication, and creative skills that continue to shape my interest in public relations and brand storytelling.
Muscarelle Museum of Art — Summer Intern
Williamsburg, Virginia | 2021–2023
During high school, I had the opportunity to work as a summer intern at the Muscarelle Museum of Art in Williamsburg, Virginia. This experience allowed me to gain early exposure to the professional art world while developing skills in research, organization, and museum communications. Working in a museum environment gave me a deeper appreciation for how visual culture, storytelling, and curation shape the way audiences experience art.
Through my internship, I supported daily museum operations through a combination of administrative, research, and communications work. I assisted with artist research, exhibition preparation, archival organization, and general office tasks that contributed to the development and presentation of museum programming. I also gained insight into how exhibitions are planned, how artists and collections are researched, and how cultural institutions communicate with the public through events, programming, and educational initiatives.
This experience further strengthened my long-standing interest in art, photography, and visual aesthetics. Being surrounded by curated exhibitions and creative professionals helped shape my understanding of how visual storytelling, design, and cultural context influence the way ideas are presented and interpreted. These early experiences continue to inform my creative perspective and my interest in communications, branding, and storytelling.
